Neem and Tulsi are not ingredients. They are an institution.
For over five thousand years, Ayurveda has relied on these two botanicals as its foremost purifiers and the science now firmly backs what ancient practice already knew. Neem contains Nimbin, Nimbidin and Azadirachtin compounds with extensively documented antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Holy Basil (Tulsi) carries Eugenol and Ursolic Acid, both studied for their ability to protect and clarify skin at a cellular level. These are not folk remedies. They are chemically verified actives that Indian botanical medicine identified centuries before modern science could name them.
This soap uses Neem in two forms simultaneously: Neem Extract an active botanical concentrate and Neem Essential Oil, which provides topical antibacterial benefit directly through the wash. Combined with Tulsi Essential Oil, this is the highest concentration of Ayurvedic purifying actives available in any bar soap at this price point. Most Neem soaps use one form at trace concentration just to justify the name on the label. This bar does not do that.
Olive Oil and Wheat Germ Oil are in the base specifically to counterbalance Neem's natural astringency so despite the deep purifying action, skin is never left dry or tight after washing. 80% TFM Grade 1. Dense, hard, long-lasting.
It smells like proper Neem. Because it is.
